As a conceptual digital artist Amber was inspired to create the brand Design by Authority to showcase mixed media artworks, using materials that are everyday objects as well as references to historical material, painting and architecture. “I imagine my interpretation without being hindered by the historical reality. I use references and ideas that are so integrated into the process of the composition of the work that they may escape those who do not take the time to explore how and why these images resonate with the viewer, like a good film, long after you’ve seen them.” -Design by Authority
